User:Rachael Walton-Mouw

Senior Physical Therapist at Grady Health System, a Level 1 trauma center in Atlanta, Georgia. Began working with amputees as a rotation in 1998, feel in love with this population, and worked to develop my expertise in Amputee Rehab. Majority of our amputee patients loss their lower limbs due to complications from diabetes or peripheral vascular disease. Graduated from North Georgia College in 1996 with a Master's of Science and Physical Therapy degree. Recently returned to school and completed my transitional DPT at Alabama State University. Also received my specialist certificate in Geriatrics through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). As a side interest in functional measures for the Geriatric population, I have develop a mobile app that make is easy to capture and calculate Gait Speed while walking with your patient.
