About Me[edit | edit source]

I completed my Physiopedia volunteer training over February 2020 and now helping to update and produce pages.

Graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2018 with BSc in Physiotherapy. I am a member of the CSP and registered with the HCPC. I have completed Band 5 rotations within the Portsmouth area which include Orthopaedics, Older persons medicine, Community Neuro Service and the Neuro Gym and Urgent Care and the Frailty and Interface Team in ED.

2020 sees me starting a new adventure within Bournemouth Hospital within the acute setting. At the moment I have interests in Respiratory Physiotherapy, Frailty as well as how the profession can help prevent admissions and support early discharges. So far in my career I have been able to present a poster at Physio UK looking into Outcome Measure use in Neuro Physio.

Outside of work I enjoy playing hockey, running, pilates, walking the dog and have taken up learning to play the piano. When not busy with my hobbies my husband and I enjoy cooking and eating yummy food!
Before becoming a Physio I was in the Merchant Navy where I was able to travel the world and learnt some great skills I have been able to transfer into the physio world.
