About Me[edit | edit source]

I'm a physiotherapist from the beautiful land of thousand hills; Rwanda. I hold a Masters of Science (MSc) Degree in Physiotherapy, obtained from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. I worked in different hospital settings and have a special interest in managing pediatric disorders and musculoskeletal conditions. I 'm also interested in raising awareness about the benefits of physical activity, health promotion as well as the role of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

I also believe that giving back to the community through outreach activities is the best way to empower people, specifically people with disabilities but also the poor in general.

My Role at Physiopedia[edit | edit source]

I joined Physiopedia as a Volunteer in September 2020. I create and review content using evidenced-based literature as part of the Content Development Team. As an Assistant Content Manager, I maintain and monitor special pages in Physiopedia but also support volunteers in diffrent programs.

Being a physiotherapist and member of this amazing team, is a great opportunity to keep my knowledge up-to-date, be involved in so many projects and also challenge myself while mastering different new skills. Being part of the Physiopedia Team is also rewarding not only as a physiotherapist but also as person when your hard work is valued by the team. I was recognized as the Top Contributor for the month of May 2021 as well as Physiopedia Superstar 2022. Learn more about what I do as a volunteer and the Physiopedia Badges
