About Me[edit | edit source]

Hunter is a first year student in the Master's in Science of Physiotherapy program at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He previously completed a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and a Master's of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. He has worked as an exercise trainer with the Physical Activity Centre for Excellence (PACE) at McMaster University during both his undergraduate and graduate degrees where he engaged in exercise training and health promotion for those with neurological conditions focusing on spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis. Previously, he conducted research under the supervision of Dr. Aimee Nelson within the Department of Kinesiology at McMaster where he focused on neuroplasticity and cortical reorganization following cervical spinal cord injury. He has a keen interest in health promotion which has driven his pursuit of Physiotherapy as a career.
