About Me[edit | edit source]

I live in the beautiful coastal city of Mangaluru, Karnataka, one of the southern states of India. Here, I have been working as a Lecturer at Father Muller Charitable Institutions, since January 2019. I have completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies from the same institute with an excellent academic record, securing the first rank in all four years of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course and being awarded the Best Outgoing Student of my batch. During my postgraduate studies, I specialized in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders. I have seen numerous patients during the course of my career and each patient has been a valuable teacher. I voraciously scour the internet, daily, to keep myself updated with multiple physiotherapy resources available online. I am a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society since January 2020. I enjoy teaching undergraduate students and providing clinical training to interns. I have a keen interest in research and physiotherapy education. I firmly believe that evidence-based practices are the only way to enhance patient care in physiotherapy, with high-quality research-guided education to future physiotherapists, to nurture them. I hope to pursue a PhD in the near future, to aid me in this endeavor.
