Alexander Chan is an Australian physiotherapist who is working in Hong Kong. Over the past 10 years, he has worked in various clinical settings in Australia and Hong Kong, including a private multi-disciplinary pain program and the Hong Kong Sports Institute. He has a special interest in spinal injuries, particularly in the sporting population. As a member of the La Trobe University Low Back Research Team, he was part of the recently published STOPS randomised control trial. His PhD thesis investigates the effectiveness of a functional restoration program for non-reducible discogenic pain in people with low back pain.
