About Me[edit | edit source]
I am a qualified physiotherapist from South Africa with just over 10 years of clinical experience. Over the years I have developed a special interest in public health and I am currently studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health.
Over the past years, I have had the privilege of working in three different countries (South Africa, New Zealand & Malawi) and have seen how valuable our profession can be in various different contexts. There is such a great need for rehabilitation everywhere and I dream of seeing universal healthcare becoming a reality, especially with regards to rehabilitation. I am passionate about community prevention and rehabilitation programs, as well as mental health and chronic pain conditions.
As a Physiopedia volunteer I hope to contribute to the making current research more accessible to physiotherapists globally, while expanding my skills in content editing and writing.
