About Primal Pictures
 | Primal Pictures are an award winning medical software publisher, founded in 1991 with the aim of creating the most detailed and accurate 3D rendering of the human body using real scan data. Having completely that goal in 2003 we have used our 3D models to create a range of innovative, customised titles aimed at specific medical specialties and established ourselves as a leading content provider in medical education. Our products are currently used in over 700 educational institutions and by thousands of practitioners worldwide. |
How our software was developed
It is derived from genuine medical scan data that has been interpreted by a team of Primal anatomists and then translated into three-dimensional images by an expert team of graphics specialists. The anatomy visuals are accompanied by three-dimensional animations that demonstrate function, biomechanics and surgical procedures.
To supplement the core three-dimensional anatomy data are clinical videos and text written by some of the world’s leading medical specialists.
