My name is Paul Reen and I am currently studying for a MSc (Pre Reg) Physiotherapy degree at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland. I am in my final year of study and intrigued about my future prospects on completion of the course. I completed a BSc (Hons) in Fitness professional in Tralee IT, Kerry Ireland in 2011, covering such modules as advanced performance training, massage, activity leadership, exercise prescription, applied sports psychology, behavior change, social and commercial enterprise start-up. Prior to this I completed a BSc in Health and Leisure studies also at Tralee IT, Kerry, Ireland. I completed modules such as human anatomy and physiology, health studies: Lifestyle and health, motor learning, sports development, postural kinesiology, and adapted physical activity/disability studies. I have been a qualified Swim coach, swim lifeguard in the past as well as qualified REPS Ireland (level 5) personal trainer. I also undertook a 1 year physical therapy and applied exercise science course at Institute of physical therapy, Limerick, Ireland covering modules such as pathophysiology, MSK anatomy, trigger point therapy and, muscle energy techniques. I have worked in various roles involving sports coaching in the past also.
