About Me

I am a Physical Therapy Student atBellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.  This is  my first semester as a Physical Therapy Student, and I am highly enthused about starting my education and making my way into the Physical Therapy Career World.  I was an Exercise Science major in undergrad, which I also took at Bellarmine University.  I was admitted to the program through early acceptance, as Bellarmine University, has an excelerated program for students interested in the Physical Therapy Program.  I have observed in geriatrics and neurology wing at Christopher East in Louisville, Kentucky, and also observed at KORT St. Matthews in Louisville, Kentucky.  My current interests, and the branch of Physical Therapy where I would like to work most, at this point in my life, is Geriatrics.

Education

I attended Sacred Heart Academy, located in Louisville, Kentucky, for high school, and graduated from Sacred Heart in May of 2008.  I attended Washington and Lee Univeristy, in Lexington, Virginia, from August of 2008 until December of 2008, where I played soccer for a semester before transferring.  I transferred to Bellarmine University, in Louisville, Kentucky, starting in January of 2009, and completed two and a half years of undergraduate education at Bellarmine University before being accepted into the Physical Therapy Program.  Bellarmine's Physical Therapy Program has an accelerated track for Bellarmine undergraduate students who are pursuing Physical Therapy as their career.  I was admitted into the program at the end of my junior year of undergrad.  I started the Physical Therapy Doctoral Program at Bellarmine University in May of 2011.  I will graduate from this program in December of 2013.

I am affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association (KPTA).
