About Me
[edit | edit source]
I am currently a student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. I was born and raised in central Wisconsin where I enjoyed playing sports and exploring the outdoors through hunting and fishing. During my senior year of high school I participated in a mentorship program where I shadowed inpatient and outpatient physical therapists. This experience led to my interest in pursuing a career as a physical therapist. Soon after, I started volunteering in an acute care and outpatient physical therapy setting. After graduating high school I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison as a Kinesiology student and volunteered at the University of Wisconsin Health Hospital in the inpatient physical therapy department for four years. Before graduating from UW-Madison, I was presented with the Volunteer Ambassador Award from UW Health for going above and beyond as a physical therapist volunteer.
I look forward to continuing my education in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Bellarmine University and gaining appropriate knowledge and skill to make a positive difference in the quality of people’s lives by working directly with patients and other health care professionals.
